Day 249: Finally

Finally got some groceries in the fridge today. It had been literally weeks since I'd last gone to the grocery store. Turns out, I still hate it. But at least I have food now.

Day 248: Ellie Bean

Could she be any cuter? Um, no.

Day 247: Little Helper

My two favorite little people {and my favorite sister} came in town for the night. And my little Jojo was quite the helper when we got home from dinner. He grabbed a wipe and started rubbing Ellie's back saying "I cleaning Ollie." So.flipping.cute. And then he cleaned mommy's arm :)

Day 246: Weird Things

Being engaged means you have to do weird things. Like sit at a Starbucks in the Galleria while your boyfriend {I despise the word fiancee} gets your ring appraised on the other side of the ice skating rink. Just weird, I tell you......

Day 245: Still a Mess

I've been home from Puerto Rico for two days, and my living room floor still looks like this.....

Day 244: Home Sweet Home

And enjoying some much needed couch time with my baby :)

Day 243: Upgrade Us

Upgrade to Business Class for the return flight? Yes, please. One of the best decisions we've ever made. Even Brian had enough leg room!

Day 242: Sunburned + Happy

Loving our time in San Juan!

Day 241: Old San Juan

It rained a bit today, so we took the opportunity to head to Old San Juan and visit the fort where they fought the Spanish/American War. Great views!

Day 240: I Guess Brian Liked It

Because on our first night in Puerto Rico, he put a ring on it :)

Day 237: Photoshop Skills

Put my Photoshop skills to use today, editing some photos of my ADORABLE niece.

Before:
After:

Side note: Is Ellie not the most adorable baby girl in the entire flipping world?! Not that I'm biased or anything. Oh and my sis is pretty cute, too :)

Day 236: Proud

Are you allowed to be proud of yourself for small accomplishment? If so* then I'm proud I got over my 3-mile hump and ran 4 miles today.

*If not, then disregard. Thankyouverymuch.

Day 235: Dog Park

Brian and I took Zoe to the dog park downtown tonight, and it sucked. We usually love the place, but it was super crowded {which you can't really tell in this picture} and full of extremely odd people. Let's just say a very awkward boy scared Zoe to death, picked him up out of Brian's arms.....and got peed on. We've had better experiences at the dog park.

Day 234: College Football is Back!

That means it's once again acceptable to drink before noon. Love this time of year!

Day 233: It's 2:15 p.m. on a Friday

And I'm heading home for the 3-day weekend!

Day 232: Photoshop

I start Photoshop classes tonight, and I'm so excited!

Day 231: New Camera Bag!

See that adorable bag across my body, that looks like just a cute leather purse? That's my new camera bag. And I looooove it!

Day 230: I heart you coffee

Thank you for existing. That is all.

Day 229: The More Things Change....

The more they stay the same.

Need proof? Check out my outfit from today (yes, I'm in the restroom at work):

And my outfit from senior year of high school (yep, I took a photo of a photo from my Senior Book):

Red top? Animal print belt? Check and check.

Day 228: Dear J Crew

You know I love you. I really, truly do. But do you really expect people to wear a sequin mini skirt with a puffy hunting/camping vest? I don't think so.

Day 227: I'm getting old

After last night's veeery rough night, I spent the majority of today {until 2:30 when I absolutely had to get up to get ready for a wedding shower} in this position. I.Am.Getting.Old.

Day 226: I knew you were trouble.....

There was an incident tonight with a shot. I don't want to talk about it. Let's just say it led to the funniest comment I've ever heard someone say...

Kelly: "I knew you were trouble from the first moment I met you."

Love it!
